Incident Summary:
A mass confrontation between the 2 teams broke out. Spectators also entered the field.
Comments:
The AYSO United coach Curtis Lawson is suspended 4 games - 2 games for failing to control his team's spectators and 2 for failing to control his team's failures.
The coach of the Pacifica United team, Eilmaz Sarli, is suspended 4 games - 2 games for failing to control his team's spectators and 2 for controlling his players. There were a number of spectators who entered the filed during this confrontation - it is never acceptable for spectators to enter the field and if the team they had supported had been identified in the referee's report, additional sanctions would have been applied.
If either coach is not coaching the team they coached in this game next season they are to serve their suspensions with the oldest teams they coach next year.
