| Incident Summary: | Allegation that Bay Area Surf has recruited pre-ECNL players from De Anza. Bay Area Surf reached out to DeAnza's DOC to obtain permission for several DeAnza players to train with Bay Area Surf. DeAnza's DOC did not respond so no permission was granted. It is further alleged that Bay Area Surf had parents on their team contact the DeAnza players and their parents. While the Bay Area Surf ED requested permission for the DeAnza players to train with Bay Surf, this appears to have been read by DeAnza as requesting releases. While DeAnza did not release the players, the players were subsequently, upon their request, released by USCLub Soccer. |
