| Incident Summary: | At the end of the game, a large brawl broke out between players from both teams. Spectators from both teams then entered the field and joined the confrontation. It is alleged that spectators from both teams made physical contact with players from the opposing team. |
| Comments: | The PAD Committee recommends that the Board of Directors of NorCal Premier Soccer place Fremont Youth Soccer on probation until July 1, 2024. The PAD Committee recommends that the Board of Directors place Deportivo Barcelona on probation until July 1, 2024. Coach Travis Cabral of Fremont is suspended 4 games - 2 for failing to control his team and 2 for failing to control his spectators. Coach Francisco Alvarez of Deportivo Barcelona is suspended 4 games - 2 for failing to control his team's spectators and 2 for failing to control his team's players. Every player on both teams is suspended 2 games. On appeal the PAD Committee lifts the suspension of the Fremont player other than the suspension of Natalia Medina for 2 games. The PAD Committee notes that is these teams were not U19 teams playing their final games, the PAD Committee would be recommending that both teams be expelled from all NorCal competitions. |
