| Incident Summary: | Allegation that a San Pablo player directed a racial slur at the coach of San Francisco Glens. Allegedly the referee was notified of the use of the slur and minimized it. The game was ended. After this it is alleged that a San Pablo assistant coach tried to engage with the SF Glens spectators and provoke a fight. |
| Comments: | While the PAD Committee believes it is more likely than not that this incident occurred as described, the PAD Committee is unable to sanction the appropriate player because the player has not been identified sufficiently. That this occurred, and that this referee reacted this way is inexcusable. San Pablo is reminded that racism is never tolerated at NorCal events and the PAD Committee expects this type of issues to be handled better in the future. |
