TRACY FC COACH Lance Delbridge suspended 3 games for unacceptable parent behavior.
ALLIANCE FC COACH Andrew Bernal suspended 3 games for unacceptable parent behavior.
This case will remain OPEN. Tracy FC must supply NorCal with a police report that was filed in this incident.
We have also passed the incident on to US Club Soccer and the NorCal BOD to review further. |
| Comments: | After reviewing comments from both teams/clubs and the referees we have found that the parents from both teams ran on the field to break up the fight. As this was happening mother of Vanessa P was seen by referee pulling the hair of Alliance FC player while breaking up the fight. This was followed by a strike to the face by the father of Vanessa P. This led to a mass confrontation between the referees and the parents of both teams. A referee assault is also going to be reviewed by US Club Soccer.
PARENTS SHOULD NEVER ENTER THE FIELD OF PLAY. IT USUALLY ALWAYS LEADS TO A MORE SERIOUS SITUATION. WE HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT A POLICE REPORT HAS BEEN FILED.
