| Incident Summary: | FC Diablos played a player in State Cup who previously in this State Cup played in the same age group for Chaos. As this violates the Cup tied rule, the match is determined to be a 3-0 forfeit in favor of Vacaville. There is no requirement that the violating club have knowledge that its player is cup tied. This is simply a situation, where if it occurs, the team that used the cup tied player must forfeit the game in which the player played. The PAD Committee continues to investigate whether the coach of the FC Diablos team knowingly used a cup tied player. The PAD Committee has investigated this matter and determined this player was played in error. As an illegal player was played, but it was a mistake, the coach, Demetrio Perez is suspended 1 game. |
