Incident Summary:Allegation that a coach left Rage ECNL to coach a team in the same age group and gender for Force ECNL. 3 players left the Rage ECNL team to play for the same coach at the Force ECNL team. The players moved during the tryout window.
Comments:De Anza is a member of NorCal and as such is subject to the rules of NorCal. Rule 4.4.7 set forth in the NorCal Handbook prohibits players from playing for a coach who leaves 1 club and goes to another club for 1 year after the coach leaves the first club. In this situation, the players playing for this coach before the 1 year anniversary of the departure of the coach from Rage during the 1 year period violates this rule. For the violation of this rule, Toby Frolich is prohibited from coaching the players identified in the complaint in any NorCal competition until May 20, 2023.
