Incident Summary:Allegation that Oakley SC recruited multiple teams that had previously been registered with Ajax East Bay. Allegation that Joel Cazarez coached the players involved with Ajax East Bay prior to moving to Oakley.
Comments:As Oakley has failed to respond to any of these allegations, all of the allegations are taken as true.
Joel Cazarez is prohibited from having any on-field contact with any player he coached at Ajax East Bay for 1 year from the date of his departure from Ajax East Bay. This prohibition includes coaching, managing, training, or any iteration thereof.
Joel Cazarez is found to have violated Rule 4.4.3 of the NorCal Handbook in enticing teams to leave 1 club and go to another. He is suspended for 1 year from the date he next registers as a coach with a NorCal club.
Oakley SC is found to have violated Rule 4.4.4 of the NorCal Handbook. The NorCal PAD Committee refers this to the NorCal Board of Directors to determine an appropriate action. The NorCal PAD Committee recommends that the NorCal Board undertake a membership review of Oakley SC.
