Incident Summary: | Mr. Frisinger, the President of Napa United, entered the Napa United Technical Area during the match and engaged verbally with the referee. Mr. Frisinger then approached the referee after the match to further discuss the issue. Mr. Frisinger was not listed on the game card as a coach. |
Comments: | Mr. Frisinger, despite being the President of the club has no right to enter the Technical Area during a match and no right to engage with the referee after the match. The role of President of a club does not provide the individual any on-field game day rights. As Mr. Frisinger is therefore a spectator at the match, the Coach is responsible for his actions. Spectators are not allowed on the Technical Area at any time and are not permitted to approach referees after the conclusion of the game. Coach Gavin Taylor is suspended 2 games for failing to control his team's spectators. |
